Above is a more difficult to use map, but seems to confirm some of the concepts. Below is a map from Nafzinger.
The above maps are what I have used for giving an idea of where the woods will be located on the map. John Snead has been kind enough to immensely help with some details of the version he ran Historicon. Hopefully mine can be nearly as good in my own way.
Greeting's! I expect to use this page to pass on my little bit of joy that comes with my wargaming hobby. My true interest is in the grandtactical aspects of 1800's warfare; both home and abroad. My interest was first started way too long ago by my unknowing mentor, Jay.
I enjoy miniatures in 15mm and 25-28mm. I have collected quite a few and try to game enough that I can rub the varnish and paint off of them. I will be looking forward to "shouting out" my version of information.
One the the things I believe I can do is help the small gamer find scenario's to play, as there are very few and these are far between in a noncommercial venue. Lots of great medium and large scale battles exist, but few exist for the beginning armies. I wish to post the scenario appropriate information, so that people may then modify that information to fit there rules system.I would in turn like some feedback from anyone who plays these so that I can tweek or add information that may be necessary. I do hope people will enjoy.
